Live plants notice
Natural Variations
All plants are living organisms and each specimen is unique. Natural variations in size, colour, leaf shape, pitcher development, growth habit and overall appearance are normal and do not constitute defects. Product photographs are representative unless the listing explicitly states that the exact plant pictured will be supplied.
Condition on Arrival
Plants may show temporary signs of transport stress after shipping, including wilted leaves, damaged or lost pitchers, minor leaf damage or temporary growth interruption. Such temporary transport-related effects do not necessarily indicate that a plant is unhealthy or defective.
Shipping & Transport
All plants are packed carefully to minimise the risk of damage during transport. If an order arrives damaged or in an unacceptable condition, please contact us as soon as possible after delivery and provide clear photographs of the plant, packaging and shipping label.
Nothing in this section limits any statutory consumer rights or our legal obligations regarding damaged, defective or incorrectly supplied goods.
Climate Conditions
Live plants are sensitive to extreme temperatures. During periods of excessive heat or cold, shipment may be delayed where reasonably necessary to protect the plants.
Where optional protective packaging, insulation or heat packs are offered, customers are encouraged to select the appropriate option for their local weather conditions. These measures can reduce, but cannot completely eliminate, temperature-related stress during transport.
Cultivation Responsibility
Successful cultivation depends on suitable environmental conditions and appropriate care, including temperature, humidity, light, water quality and growing medium.
Once a plant has been delivered in satisfactory condition, we cannot be responsible for subsequent deterioration or loss resulting from unsuitable cultivation conditions, improper care, pests, disease introduced after delivery, inappropriate water quality or other circumstances outside our control.
Acclimatisation
Plants may require an acclimatisation period after delivery. Changes in humidity, temperature, light levels and other growing conditions can temporarily affect appearance and growth. The loss of existing pitchers or leaves during acclimatisation does not necessarily indicate that the plant is unhealthy.
Reporting Problems
If there is a problem with your order upon arrival, please contact us promptly and include photographs showing the condition of the plant and packaging. This allows us to assess transport damage or other issues and find an appropriate solution.
Statutory Rights
These provisions do not exclude or restrict any mandatory statutory rights available to consumers under applicable law.
